As far as I can remember one of the first games I ever played was Lemmings on Windows. It’s so amazing to see how far we’ve gone in the gaming world since then. I’m a huge movie buff and I feel music is one of the best things in life. That’s why I’m very into the story, character development & the music of video games, those are some of the most important things to me at least. Now besides playing online (and working on the site), I’m always trying to see what the next big thing is going to be. Whether it be from comics to the next console, I’ll be all over it. One of the greatest gaming moments I had was when I first got a Super Nintendo and it came with Killer Instinct , Super Mario & Donkey Kong. That’s when it all began…

Hello! My favorite gaming moment is at the part of the story in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic when you find out who your character really is. I was 12 years old when I played KOTOR and that revelation just left me with my jaw on the ground. It was at that point in my gaming history that I played games (most of the time) for the story. Like J-Dub, I also have a competitive urge in me that just wants to be the best, like no one ever was…I will travel across the land…Woops, I just had another gaming moment.
I’m very picky when buying games because I’m frugal and I don’t give myself many hours during the week to play video games. Most of the time I’m working at my part time job, working on a video game with a couple friends, or updating this site.

Hey all, my name is Russian Renegade and I’m the Editor-in-Chief for Gaming Moments. I’m what a lot would call a “hipster gamer”. I try to find the sleeper-hits that no one seems to know and bring them into light. One of my favorite games of all time is Deadly Premonitions for that reason alone. I overlook a lot of games flaws if the story and character design are well write and can immerse me into the world they present. RPG’s are my bread and butter but I’ll play any genre to a game that stands out from the rest.

What’s up? Video games are a huge part of my life. It’s kind of hard not to say that when it’s something I have been doing my entire life. My all time greatest video game moment is when I finally defeated my dad in Starcraft! To fully understand this let me give you a little bit of background on the subject. How most kids have their Saturday morning cartoons, I had Saturday morning Warcraft 2 and then Starcraft battles with my brother, a friend, and my dad. For years, I would lose to him, would come close at times but never won. Then on one Saturday in a 1v1 I finally found a way to win! Needless to say I love to compete, it doesn’t matter the game, or even if I’m good at it. So games with great multiplayer are a big lore for me. But I do love a great story, because after all who doesn’t love getting lost in a fictional world. Hope you enjoyed and look forward to giving you the best we can!
