This week’s Releases (UK)
No release list this week, there’s plenty out but I’ve come to the conclusion that my usual source for release dates is not very accurate. For instance it has The Orange Box down as coming out on the 19th when its actually out already. I’ll be emailing them and letting them know. So I am once more on the hunt for a site with accurate release dates, any suggestions are most welcome.

Quick links, 7th - 13th October
What with the release of The Orange Box (it rocks btw) I haven’t been paying as much attention to reality as I should have been. Here’s some of the stuff that just managed to make it through the gaming fog I’ve been surrounded by.

UT3 Demo Preload Available To Fileplanet Subscribers
Its getting close now, as evidenced by the fact that you can preload the UT3 beta/demo from Fileplanet, this means you can play it as soon as it’s released. The only drawback is that you have to be a subscriber.
I would expect the demo to be available to the rest of us at some point in the next few days. You can find out if you might be able to run it by checking out the specs here. Remember though that this is a beta so don’t expect it to run straight off and help the devs out by reporting any bugs. The more that are caught now the less complaints about ‘unfinished games’ and early patches there’ll be on release.
Update: Its out, its gorgeous and so far from my end it is bug free!
