You Might Want to Think Twice About Buying Madden NFL 13 on Wii U
Buy this version of Madden NFL 13 instead of the Wii U version.
Madden NFL 13 releases for Xbox 360 and PS3 on August 28. A Wii U version of the game will follow sometime later. However, football-loving gamers might not want to wait past August; in an interview with ESPN Playbook, producer Yuri Bialoskursky said that the Wii U version of Madden NFL 13 won’t be as feature rich as its Xbox and PS3 brothers. In particular, the Wii U version won’t feature Madden Ultimate Team, online team play, or new for this year’s Madden feature the Infinity physics Engine.
-Nick’s take: There you have it–buy Madden NFL 13 on either Xbox 360 or PS3. True, the Wii U version will feature the ability to call plays on the Wii U GamePad, but it’s not worth the loss of the new physics engine.
