THQ Cancels InSane
THQ/Guillermo del Toro’s InSane has been cancelled.
Looking forward to InSane, the upcoming horror game from THQ and director Guillermo del Toro? Well, I have some bad news for you–in a post-earnings conference call earlier, THQ officially announced that InSane has been cancelled.
-Nick’s take: There’s a silver lining here; rights to the InSane property have been given back to Guillermo del Toro, meaning that a game (or even a movie) in this universe could still be made by a different studio. Still, THQ’s InSane game wasn’t even scheduled to come out until 2014; any developer working from a clean slate will surely take even longer to complete a game.
