Paul McCartney Tweets that He is Working With Bungie

Halo series composer Marty O’Donnell has given Bungie games some amazing soundtracks. Still, maybe some new blood is needed for a fresh take on Bungie game music? Sure, most musicians couldn’t possibly live up to Mr. O’Donnell’s work, but then again, most musicians weren’t a member of The Beatles. Yup, it appears that former Beatles member Paul McCartney is working with Bungie, according to a tweet from the man himself: “really excited to be working on writing music with @bungie, the studio that made Halo.” No indication was given as to what game Mr. McCartney is writing music for, but leaked documents recently revealed that Bungie is working on an MMO codenamed “Destiny,” so you can put two and two together.
-Nick’s take: Sweet! The greatest audio composer in gaming is teaming with one of the best musicians of all time. Bungie’s “Destiny” probably has more hype than any other game right now…and it hasn’t even been officially announced!
