Review: G.I. Joe Rise Of The Cobra For The Xbox360

I have had enough bad experiences with video games based on movies to believe that they are usually not worth the money. Then again, I have been wrong a lot of times in the past, and I just might be wrong in this as well. Earlier this year, Transformers 2 (the game, not the movie) got good reviews and seems to have broken the trend of bad movie-based video games.
Here is another game that might just break the trend yet again. I have not had the chance to play the video game version of G.I. Joe Rise Of The Cobra, but from what I have been reading, it is pretty darn good. Raymond Carsillo from The Examiner published a review of the game for the Xbox360 and in this review, he says a lot of good things:
This game hit every right chord with this hardcore GI Joe geek. It felt like you were playing updated versions of the old-school NES games that were based on the cartoons. You’re able to play with two Joes at a time while selecting from a roster of 12 possible Joes, all with unique weapons and special abilities. You can switch between the two Joes at any time also as long as they do not get knocked out on the mission and this flexibility can help in creating some interesting strategies. You then march across four general terrains in 20 specific missions as you progress through a classic GI Joe storyline.
I remember loving G.I. Joe but I cannot call myself a certified geek, so I have to trust Carsillo on this one. Anyone else has something to say about the game?
Now THIS is great gaming news! What do I do now?
