Problems With Credit Cards And The PlayStation Network

One of the biggest attractions of having a PlayStation 3 is the ability to play online and interact with other people as well. Another thing is the PlayStation Store. Avid gamers can connect online and download stuff from the PlayStation Store. I am sure you already know this. For the free downloads, there really is no problem. But when it comes to actually buying stuff – and there are a lot of good deals, let me tell you – I have been having some problems.

You know that you have to upload money to your “wallet” right? But before you can do this, you have to have a credit card verified. I have been trying to do this for a while but to no avail. I tried it again today with a new Visa card. This is what happened – I entered the credit card details and it went through, right. And then I had to enter the mailing information, which was a P.O. Box. I entered everything exactly as it was in the billing statement. Did it work? Nope.

I am really frustrated at this point because they have several games on sale at the Store and they are all discounted. The thing is, the sale is only until midnight. I have about 15 minutes left and it still is not working. I do not know what the problem is and I have searched various forums and blogs and it seems that many other people are having the same problem.

Can anyone help me with this?
