God of War III

My bias may be showing when I say this, but I think that the God of War series just might be the best video game franchise ever made. I know a lot of GTA enthusiasts will be looking to argue with me about that statement but hey, this is only my opinion. I first discovered God of War several years ago – quite late, actually. Ever since I laid my eyes on Kratos and everything else in that world of his, I was hooked.

When God of War II came out, there was no question about me buying the game and playing it. Despite the level of difficulty – to be honest, I love video games but I am not the best video game player in the world – the graphics and the story just pushed me to play the game. Perhaps the relation to Greek mythology is one of the main reasons I love this series. I have been addicted to Greek mythology ever since I can remember.

Anyhow, during this year’s E3 conference, Sony released a teaser trailer of the third installment – God of War III. The truth is that a lot of people have been waiting for this and at the same time, a lot of doubts have been rising. This is due to the numerous delays and the leaving of Cory Barlow, the brain behind the GOW series.
