Wii Want Lightsabers, Wii Get Ligthsabers

You may recall, some time ago, that I asked you to think about what it would be like to wield the Wiimote as if it were a lightsaber. Well, according to Jim Ward, Lucasarts’ President:

We’re all over that, and internally we have already played a lightsaber game on the Wii. It’s a lot of fun, and we’ll get there.

All I can say is: YAY! So Lucasarts have some prototypes that they’re playing with, but whether these are for already announced titles (Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga or The Force Unleashed) or an as yet unrevealed Wii project is unknown, we should hear more in the autumn. (From Gamasutra.)
