In their monthly newsletter for April EA Mythic (formerly just Mythic) have announced:

We have made the decision to move our ship date for the US and Europe to the first quarter of 2008. (Release dates for Asia will be announced at a later date.) Since our acquisition by EA, we have been afforded many wonderful development opportunities and we plan to take full advantage of everything that is available. This includes taking several additional months to make the best MMORPG possible.

They also admit to having completed most of the work on the first racial pairing in the game, but are saying that they’re going to go back over it an make it better, as well as working on the other races.

EA Mythic have also announced that they have opened their guild beta program to applications. This phase will be open to guilds onlyÂ though we’ve been promised more info about other beta programs in next month’s newsletter.
