Valve Plans Games For The Wii
Gabe Newell must have been doing the rounds at Leipzig, in an interview with Game Informer he is caught saying that the Wii is more valuable and interesting than just a CPU and graphics chip combination (which is baiscally what the 360 and PS3 are). I;m guessing that he’s talking about the challenge presented by the control system and how it forces developers to think about how their games are played more than they have done in the past. He goes on to say:
The fact that we don’t have anything in development on it even though it represents big opportunities as a whole, it’s an obvious hole in our strategy.
So be on the lookout for Valve games on the Wii, Wiimote as crowbar anyone?
