This Week’s Releases (UK)

Theres a dearth of releases this week. The obligatory multi platform release of Surf’s Up to tie in with the movie is about all there is, and even that’s not much really. Things should start to pick up again nearer the end of August and by mid September I should be just about able to keep up.

It’s the Big Game Charlie Brown 30/7/2007 (Also released on Mac): Charlie Brown attempts some social engineering in this title designed to teach kids about friendship, fun and baseball.
Attack on Pearl Harbor 30/07/2007: Was meant to land in June but the carrier was sunk.
Burn 1/8/2007: An FPS. Same as all the other FPS’s out there. Definitely a straight to budget title.
Surf’s Up 3/8/2007: Train a penguin how to surf. Based on the CGI movie.

PS2
Surf’s Up 3/8/2007: Same as above but with worse graphics.

PS3
Surf’s Up 3/8/2007: Same as above but with better graphics.

PSP
Guilty Gear Judgment 3/8/2007: Slipped from last week.
Surf’s Up 3/8/2007: Same as other versions but portable.

360
MotoGP 07 3/8/2007: Highly polished HD motorcycle racer.
Surf’s Up 3/8/2007: You know the drill.

Wii
Surf’s Up 3/8/2007: This one is the anomaly, supposedly uses the Wiimote quite effectively. If I was going to buy this it would be this version.

Guilty Gear Dust Strikers 3/8/2007: Another one that’s guilty of slippage (do you see what I did there?)
Surf’s Up 3/8/2007: As before but with two screens and also portable, not sure if the touch screen is used to good effect.
