Sky Sports to Air Counter-Strike Competition

Sky have purchased the British TV rights to Valve’s most popular online shooter and will run a series of shows based around a dedicated Sky Counter-Strike competition. This is the first time that a e-sports have had a proper airing on mainstream British TV and if successful may pave the way for greater coverage of such competitions. E-sports are huge in South Korea where tournaments are aired regularly aired on national television. (From Kotaku.)
