Microsoft’s Games Hit Bargain Bin In Record Time
U.S. retailer, Circuit City, is giving away copies of the Vista version of Shadowrun with every copy of Halo 2 Vista bought, and the game is less than a month old. Ha Ha Ha. This looks like an effort to shift stocks of both games, which in the deal you’re basically getting for $20 apiece.
Both games recieved lukewarm receptions from many reviewers, Halo 2 because of its obvious age and Shadowrun simply because it’s bad and doesn’t do justice to the license. Both games have also been balanced in favour of console players or pad users for the much vaunted cross-platform multiplayer offered by Windows Live Games.
I’m not usually one for taking pleasure in another’s misfortune, but hey, this is Microsoft we’re talking about. (From Joystiq
