Home Launch Date Denied By Sony
Sony have responded to the apparent leak of a list of upcoming release dates with a flat denial. As reported yesterday, Kotaku managed to get hold of a release schedule for the months running up to Christmas which included a tentative date of October 11th for its Home community software on PSN.
“I don’t know where Kotaku have taken them from or why they’re claiming ‘SCEE have clarified dates’ as we haven’t sent them anything, and neither have our Central office.”
Said a spokesperson yesterday, claiming that the only confirmed dates for PS3 titles are for Heavenly Sword (September 14th) and Warhawk (September 21st). Declining to comment directly on the rumoured Home release date the spokesperson also said than more announcements would be made regarding Home at the Tokyo Game Show, running from September 20th -23rd in, surprise surprise, Tokyo.
