Halo 2 Vista: Official Slippage

As a follow up to Thursday’s report about retailers changing their release listings for Halo 2 Vista, Microsoft have come out of the shadows with a announcement that they’re delaying the release of the game for an unspecified time. Hah! Might as well bury it completely and forget about it. By the time its released it will not compare favourably with games like Stalker and Crysis. The release of this game is going to be a bit of an embarrassment for Microsoft, methinks. “Here’s the game that you’ve been waiting 3 years for, no don’t look over there to where that man is playing Hellgate: London. This game is better, honest. No don’t go, please, I’ll let you win…” Bury it and be done Microsoft, you’ve already lost credibility with alot of gamers after the dismal performance that DX9 games make on Vista, don’t show yourself up with a game running on three year old technology.
