FIFA 2010 To Offer 11 vs. 11
EA is planning to hold a virtual world cup alongside the real 2010 World Cup in South Africa, and hopes to support 11 vs. 11 play.
Says FIFA ’08 producer, Joe Booth. Over the next two versions of the football franchise (I’m a Brit, remember) EA plans to bring in a ‘Be A Pro’ feature which will see the player looking after the career of one player both on and off the field. Could this see virtual football replacing the real thing? If so there’d be a lot of jobless football stars out there, maybe they’d better start practising their pad control rather than their ball control.
