Edinburgh Interactive Festival, I’m Going.

eif-logo.jpgI got the confirmation this morning, I will be going to the Edinburgh Interactive Festival as a member of the press. This two day conference is held in Scotland’s capital city on the 13th and 14th August and will feature a keynote from Yves Guillemot, CEO of Ubisoft, and talks by Hilmar Peterson of CCP and Ian Livingstone of Eidos. Appearances will also be made by actors Stephen Berkhoff and Andy Serkis. Many opportunities for networking and schmoozing with some of the industries big names. I’m understandably quite daunted by the whole affair but hope to give a good account of myself. Wish me luck.

I live in Edinburgh. £88 for a student ticket… ouch.

    Enjoy the city.

I used to live in Edinburgh and know exactly what its like at this time of year, you have my sympathy :). Unfortunately due to time constraints I’ll not be able to enjoy the city much, I may leave that for later in the year when it’s not so hectic.
