Commodore Gaming Rigs A Runaway Success
As I reported a couple of weeks ago Commodore has returned to the home computer scene, with resounding success it would seem. Sales through their website at www.commodoregaming.com have been so good that the two lower specced machines which were originally slated for release through retail outlets only, are now available on their online shop ahead of the high street shops. I hinted in my last post on this subject that I’d be willing to review one of their machines if they would care to send me one, but that didn’t get a response. The offer is still there though
The online store now offers a range of options for those wanting to own a Commodore rig. The lower end G and GS models, mentioned above, come in at £949 and £1049 respectively, while the high spec GX and XX cost a wallet straining £1759 and £2899 respectively. If you want to spend more there are various customization options available, though the C-kins (custom artwork on the case) seem to be free. As it stands the Commodore machines are only available in Europe at the moment, but if they take off in a big way I’d expect to see them going stateside pretty soon. (From GameCootie.)
