Chinese Anti-Corruption MMO Crashed By Too Many Players
A government sponsored online game called Incorruptible Warrior which teaches players about government anti-corruption measures whilst they hunt down and kill corrupt officials has been brought down by high demand. The game was originally released on July 25th with space for 600 players at a time, by August 1st it had over 10,000 registered users. Corruption is allegedly rife among high ranking officials in the labyrinthine Chinese bureaucracy. Recently the head of the pharmaceutical regulatory body in China was executed for allowing dangerous drugs to be licensed, it was alleged that he’d been taking bribes to speed the licensing process.
