Blizzard Makes Non-statement Regarding StarCraft 2

Kotaku have been hounding Blizzard for a statement regarding the StarCraft 2 rumours. This is what they got:

“We do intend to announce a new product at the Worldwide Invitational next month in Korea, and we appreciate the enthusiasm and interest in getting an advance look at what that will be, but players will have to wait until May 19th to find out more. Also, we have a very strong connection with the characters and settings of StarCraft, and we do plan to revisit that universe at some point in the future, but we don’t have anything new to announce in that regard at present.”

They could have just said “No Comment” and achieved the same result. I’m betting on either Diablo 3, which there were rumours about a while ago when job ads appeared and mentioned Diablo 2, or Starcraft 2. Blizzard are known for playing their cards very close to their chest though so we’ll just have to wait till May 19th like everyone else.(From The Last Boss.)
