Bioshock Orchestral Soundtrack Free Download
The Cult of Rapture has the Garry Schyman penned orchestral background music which plays a big part in creating the atmosphere of Bioshock available as a free 23 MB download. If you haven’t played the game, the music is worth listening to on its own merits, if you have played the game you can listen and reminisce over particular moments.
The effect a decent score has on the emotional impact and atmosphere of a game is often overlooked, and underlines the fact that games use elements from all the other more ‘mainstream’ art-forms. The score of Bioshock hints at a disjointed and dystopian world, full of threat and sadness. It fits the game itself perfectly.
