It’s time to prepare for some new DLC! In the next two weeks there will be two new content downloads coming out. First, will be Brink’s “Agents of Change” which will be released on August 3rd. This DLC will be “free” for the first two weeks only. If you choose to download this content after the first two week you will have to pay an unknown fee. “Agents of Change” will come with two new maps, two new character customizations, two new weapon attachment. There will also be five new player abilities. Also, there will be additional trophies/achievements to go along with this content patch. So if you own Brink, make sure you get this update while it’s free.
In other DLC news, Mortal Kombat will be releasing their 4th new DLC character: Freddy Krueger (the antagonist from the popular horror movie franchise “Nightmare on Elm Street) in the second week of August. He is scheduled for an August 9th release. If you bought the “MK Pass” you will be receiving this character for free. If not, then you will pay $5.00 (400 Microsoft Points).

The new game modes include: Freeze Tag, Hot Potato, and Hail to the King. The four new maps are: Call of Duke, Sandbox, Inferno, and 2Forts1Bridge. As you can see this content update is once again poking fun at other popular gaming franchises. Regarding the “2forts1Bridge” Duke can be found exclaiming “Hats, I don’t need no stinking hats.” This content will be free to any of the “First Access Club Members” Everyone else will have to pay a fee (yet to be determined). We should expect to see this hit the marketplace around Fall 2011.
